HARIT (Haryanvis In Texas is proud community partner of the India Day Celebration 2019 by IANT.

The India Association of North Texas is celebrating India’s Republic day by hosting the 43rd Annual India Day Celebration, a fun filled event of songs and dances from various parts of India, performed by very enthusiastic local artists of a varying of ages. It is celebrated to commemorate India’s Republic Day, the day on which the Constitution of India came into force. It is one of the three National holidays in India.

The India Association takes great pride in celebrating this occasion by showcasing the talents and cultural performances of over 1100 participants from the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex. The event helps the general community learn about India and its vast culture and history.

IANT will host its Annual Anand Bazaar to celebrate India's Independence Day and HARIT (Haryanvis In Texas) is proud community partner of the event. . This will be an exciting event as it is the first time the event will be held in the heart of the DFW Metroplex.

The program will contain a variety of food stalls featuring local cuisine as well as dance and music from various parts of India. Vendors from across the metroplex will have their wares displayed along with fireworks and parades as well.

This year's entertainment features renowoned Shibani Kashyap accompanied by Salil Bhadekar and Arunima Abraham. The event is FREE for all along with FREE Parking at selected garages near the Park.

Join us to celebrate Diwali

We organized first charity event for supporting St. Jude Children’s Cancer Hospital.  The event was hosted at Durbar Banquet Hall, Jaswinder Singh Bunti created an exceptional atmosphere with melodic voice and 300 people singing along with him. The funds collected from this event was donated to St. Jude Children’s Cancer Hospital.

This event was planned for senior citizens to meet other parents and share their experiences with younger generation. The event was organized at Frisco common park with potlucklunch shared among members. It fostered new relations and bonding among the members. Senior citizens expressed their happiness by cracking jokes and dancing on folk songs.

Holi milan was organized at Raghunath temple, Plano. It was extremely successful and fun filled event with colors, music, dance and lots of love. We also celebrated Holi in Haryana style where ladies showered men with Kolada(tightly wrapped dupatta like a rope soaked in water)

New Year 2018 celebrated with great enthusiasm on December 30^th at Yolo Club, Irving. Around 100 people attended the celebration along with kids and senior citizens. Senior Citizens shared their experience on life in US and how to best adapt to the new culture & country. Hindi music including raganis and Haryanvi jokes were few of the highlights of the night. Prizes were distributed to the kids for their performances.

The festival of lights was organized at Route 66 restaurant in Irving, TX. The function started with introduction of new families to the group, followed by amazing performance by kids and award ceremonies. Families enjoyed light music and dinner.
